@xCAgrader: How much does format matter? For instance, is it better to answer in semi-outline fashion, where the element of each issue is labeled at the beginning of each paragraph? Or, is it better to have a paragraph (more narrative-looking) format? Does that even matter?

Thank you!

I think it's a problem with me, though... not Vivian. She gets some of the law a little wrong, but other than that, the structure was what I needed. That said, I won't be doing it again.
I just found out (fri) that I failed the CBX for the second time. I had failed he first time with a 1427 (1440needed) and was very confident. I'm waiting for my scores in the mail today, and already registered for the 7/2010 exam. Has anyone that has previously used Bargraders.com seem changes in their scores? How accurate does the grading appear to be compared to how the bar grades. (Granted, I had a re-read with multiple 10pt and 1 15pt difererance between 1st and 2nd reads on my first CBX, so I know there is a range depending on readers)

Any success stories that happen to still roam the message board?

UPDATED 2009 BAR EXAM OUTLINES MBE

Dear Bar Applicant !

I have outlines for the Multistate bar exam ( Torts, Contracts, Property, Criminal Law,Criminal Procedure, Evidence ) The outlines are of the Bar Bri course, Bar Bri questions, PMBR course, personal notes plus hundreds of questions I worked through.

They are comprehensive, yet concise to study EXACTLY what you need. They are focused on EXACTLY what you need. It does not matter how much you study - this is all you need to know.

SAVE TIME AND MONEY the bar is approaching. These outlines are a life saver.
Here a short sample:
CONTRACTS

General:
1. only six areas that can be asked about on the exam:
a. did the parties form an agreement? (offer & acceptance)
b. is that agreement a K? (consideration)
c.………………………………………………………………………………………….
d………………………………………………………………………………………….
e..................................................................................................................

Revocation of Offer
Ø	revocation is a statement that an offer may no longer be accepted. It is effective upon receipt by offeree.
Ø	offeree can accept anytime until offeror revokes the offer:
o	unambiguously revokes the offer; AND
o	offeree knows of cancellation
·	Irrevocable Offers
Ø	Offeror can NOT revoke in any of following:
§	Estoppel / Reliance:
·	offeree relied on the offer (moved to NY to accept job); AND
·	……………………………………………….
Under CL offers are freely revocable UNLESS …………………………………

CONSTITUTIONAL LAW :

o	Pardon – only in fed cases;
o	pres can pardon D’s accused OR convicted of fed crimes
o	Exceptions: - impeachment and related offenses
·	can NOT pardon state crimes
·	can NOT pardon ………………….
·	can NOT pardon ……………………..
………………………………………………………………………………………………

ALWAYS wrong answers for fed and leg:
o	if one branch has unlimited power (“pres can do whatever he wants in this area” OR “congress can do whatever it wants in this area”)
o	“a republican form of gov”
o	“the guarantee clause”
o	……………………………………………..

I can send via email or print hard copies for you. They cost 55$. This is a bargain price for hundreds of hours of work, attending an expensive course and almost nothing for the benefit of passing the bar.

You've heard it before, and it is true -- Graders are looking for clear, well-organized essays that do all of the following: 1) identify the legal issues raised; 2) articulate an appropriate rule of law; 3) apply the relevant facts from the pattern to the rule that has been stated; and 4) reach a consistent and legally-supportable conclusion. Sometimes, they are also looking for an explanation of the policy behind a rule to explain why a particular rule should be applied.

Keep in mind that graders aren't interested in discussions of non-issues and arguments that involve facts or circumstances that aren't in the fact pattern. And, graders are totally disinterested in theoretical ramblings!
